CMT shows potential for pain relief
We investigated how choline magnesium trisalicylate (CMT) helps alleviate bone pain in patients with metastatic cancer. In a carefully designed study involving 26 participants, we compared CMT against a placebo in a crossover format, measuring pain relief at multiple intervals after dosing.

While we observed a significant reduction in pain just one hour post-treatment with CMT, other comparisons showed improvements that didn't reach statistical significance. This suggested that CMT might assist in managing bone pain, potentially complementing traditional opioids, but overall effectiveness is still under exploration.

Pamidronate therapy reduces bone pain
We evaluated the effects of pamidronate therapy on children with osteogenesis imperfecta type III. Over the course of treatment, we saw reductions in bone pain, alongside a significant decrease in fracture incidence.

The therapy positively impacted children's daily activities and their overall mobility. Importantly, the treatment was found to be safe, although some patients experienced mild side effects like low calcium levels and a fever. Overall, our findings suggest that bisphosphonate therapy is beneficial for management in these young patients.

Calcium's role in bone pain unclear
We explored the impact of calcium treatment on bone pain in patients who developed osteomalacia, a condition linked to intravenous iron infusions. Our focus was on a group of 13 patients diagnosed with this condition, who experienced low phosphate levels due to excess fibroblast growth factor 23 (iFGF23) after receiving ferric carboxymaltose (FCM) infusions.

After halting the FCM infusions, these patients were given supportive treatment, which included phosphate, calcium, and active Vitamin D supplementation. We observed improvements in biochemical markers, including increased phosphate levels and reduced pain scores. However, it’s important to note that while calcium was part of the treatment regimen, we could not isolate its specific effects on bone pain from the other supportive measures used.

Ultimately, our findings highlight the importance of monitoring phosphate levels in patients receiving FCM, and stopping these infusions effectively addresses phosphate wasting. Although supportive treatment showed improvements in pain and bone density, the direct impact of calcium on bone pain remains unclear given the combination of treatments involved.

Increased bone density
175 people found this helpful
I find this product excellent! It delivered the expected results; my skin, hair, and nails look better, and both my mother (59) and grandmother (91) have significantly improved their bone density, according to their densitometry results. The daily dose requires 5 capsules, which is convenient as the body can't process over 500 mg of calcium at once. The balance of components is optimal - calcium is twice that of magnesium, with added vitamin D3. All ingredients are in a digestible form and the product avoids causing constipation, unlike other calcium options. It's also cost-effective here compared to Russian pharmacies.

Pain relief during pregnancy

These American vitamins were my first trial. During pregnancy, I suffered from symphysitis, with severe bone pain. My doctor recommended calcium, but initial attempts with other brands failed to help. However, after trying Solgar, the pain diminished dramatically within days, allowing me to move freely again. I attribute my recovery to this effective calcium supplement. I continue to take it regularly alongside magnesium to alleviate occasional leg cramps.

I feel fantastic after taking this; my bone pain has ceased, and my joints no longer hurt. I plan to check my vitamin D3 levels in my blood after the course, as I had a deficiency prior to starting the medication.

Promising drug delivery for osteoporosis
We developed a novel drug delivery system combining denosumab and magnesium within metal-organic frameworks to target osteoarthritis. The framework showed good potential for loaded drug release, delivering about 72% of denosumab in just 8 hours.

Additionally, it released magnesium ions, which are beneficial for bone formation. Our cytotoxicity tests demonstrated that the system is biocompatible and encourages cell growth over time. While our findings are promising for pain relief linked to osteoporosis, further studies are needed to confirm effectiveness in real-world scenarios.

Muscle pain relief
1 people found this helpful
People who are often tense, have long-lasting muscle pain, or have weak bones should consider taking this. I suspect I might have a magnesium deficiency, as I usually experience muscle pain even with minimal exercise, which can last for 2 weeks. If I face musculoskeletal inflammation or injuries, my recovery takes longer. I take only 2 tablets daily, well below the recommended amount, and they've worked wonders. The muscle pain that lingered was gone the next day. While I increased to 3 tablets once and felt soreness, reverting to 2 restored my health. Importantly, my insomnia vanished; I no longer wake up multiple times at night. I recommend magnesium for anyone struggling with insomnia or heightened body tension.

This product is vital for maintaining the health of my bones and teeth. After a few weeks of use, I've noticed positive changes in my well-being. The combination of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D enhances bone and teeth health. Its easy absorption impressed me, and I recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality support for their bone and tooth health.

Cramps disappeared

I took this Solgar calcium tablet three times daily for three months. It's particularly advisable for those over 50. Although I did not do a densitometry test, I took it prophylactically. I noticed that the cramps in my calf muscles disappeared, and my son benefited from this calcium after a forearm fracture, showing good healing after three months of use. We recommend this supplement based on our experience and are reordering.

Improved sleep quality

Goodbye apathy and sleepless nights! My husband and I are finishing our first jar of these vitamins and have noted significant improvements in wellbeing – no fatigue and we are not feeling apathetic, especially during autumn. Before ordering, we tested our D3 levels, which were low. I’ve begun sleeping better, possibly due to magnesium. I'm pleased to know my bones are receiving nourishment. I recommend these vitamins after appropriate tests.

Healthy bone support

This complex truly delivers results. Magnesium aids in calcium transport and stimulates calcitonin, promoting calcium influx into the bone. It also contains Vitamin D (400 IU), necessary for calcium absorption, benefiting bone, joint, and dental health. Although the package includes a substantial number of 300 tablets, it's reassuring to have a good supply.

I take this for my bone health alongside other calcium supplements. It seems to be preventing a decrease in bone density. I will continue using it.

Strong bone support

The perfect combination of Ca, Mg, and D3! A super-hit from Solgar! I take them for general support of my bone system. This 3-in-1 combination is very effective! I felt the benefits from the first weeks—stronger teeth and nails, thicker hair, and improved skin! The recommended intake is 5 tablets daily, but I find this too much and take just 1-2 daily, achieving great results! I’ll give it 5 stars and will reorder. If you find my feedback helpful, feel free to benefit from my discount.

After being diagnosed with BMD of -2.4, I've taken this calcium supplement for over three years. When re-examined, my score improved by 0.3. I manage my diet to ensure calcium absorption while exercising. I highly recommend this for those concerned about bone density! Do note the large pill size before purchasing.
